Dm800 Flashing and Sim Problem

Hi,
I am hoping someone can help.

I have had my DM800HD box for a year, i got it from chinese supplier D~~L Extr#me.

The box started to freeae when i tried to view the EPG so i tried to re-flash the image to fix this.

The box came wiht gemini project 4.4 installed on it so i assumed this is a sim 2 and i tried to re-installed this image on it.

When i done this i go the no CA error. I have since used dream up to start flash mode and re-flash it again with the , but still i get teh no ca error.

I have seen a post on E-start sim cards, how do i determine if this is one, i have attached photos of my sim card.

Is there anything else i should try?

i think it would be a sim2.01 mate or ferrari.

when the box was working....on startup it would say if it was sim or ferrari.

try a sim201 image...there's a few in downloads.

no idea what sim that is bappster .... but it ain't sim 2.01 ... or ferarri ..... couldn't find a pic of ferarri ... but they're red

Worst case scenario buy a new sim from Ukdreamshop.

I am thinking about a new sim. But i have few questions on this.

Is it ok to update the sim regardless of the age of your box. Are there no other hardware updates on the boxes?

What is all that is required in additional to switching the sim and updating the image. Do i need to install a new bootloader of something like that?
