hi i just got my dreambox 800se from china today and im looking for info in setting it up , i also have a dm 500s and openbox s11 i set them both up myself thanks to the dk website and there both working ,so where do i start with the 800se thanks in advance folks

what do you want to do?
flash an image? - check for images in downloads section and the image section.
load channels list? download sgt flipflops list andtransfer using dreamboxedit(available in downloads)
anything else check in the 800se section and then if you cant find.....let us know.
good choice of box by the way

JUST flash a image i do through webinterface ,close your box and then open it but keep pressing the fron button until you can see the ip adress,
best image as i have tried all of them is the newenigm2 only thing that you have to add afterwards is tspanelComment

got my dm800se last week also direct off ruby in china.
i had not got a clue what to do with it.
within an hour i had bricked it. i learned pretty quick after that,
managed to get it working again.
in the last week ive flashed and flashed and flashed. ive had green screen of death more times than i can remember
i think ive tried every image going.
now its set up (almost perfect). i got hard drive for recording and a pendrive for picons and epg
its hard at first but then it gets easier and its well worth all the frustration.
oh and dont throw it out the window. i came close more than once
was going to sell it and keep the openbox
