Tuner Failed

Hi All,

Im new to the dreambox scene so I appoligise in advance, my dreambox 800 dvr clone, was working fine but when i changed my room around and added a exstension cable to it, so i could have my box over the other side of the room certain channels have stopped working. I have changed the tuner to a M rev, i have also added a amp, i have also tryied manually scanning but BBc1,2 channel 4 channel 5 and certain other channels just say tuner failed?? Please if anyone has come across this problem please can you help me.

have u updated your boquets on the dreambox? ( use sgtflipflops on here)

have u checked the connections are all tight and nothing has moved?

alos silly question is the amp connected the right way?

Thanks for your reply, yes ive checked the amp is the right way but i havent updated so i will have ago in a sec with flipflop

you shouldnt need the amp with the m tuner. The thing you have added is the extension cable which is most likely your problem. put it back where it was and see if its okay, if ok investigate your extension lead.

Yeah its more then likely my change over, what is strange is that when i go into dreamedit it does say that 6 channels are currupt maybe it has somthing to do with that, also i updated with sgtflipflop but the channels still dont work.
