    dm800se standby light

    Can anyone advise me on how I can dim the blue standby light on my dm800se it is too bright and affecting my sleep.My dreambox is unfortunately in my bedroom.

    Black electrical tape over it ?

    There might be a more technical way though :P

      You could open the box and then with either a darker blue permanent marker or black go over the LED, that will dim it down. Or you can apply the marker to the clear plastic that transmits the light, if you know what I mean.

          i dont get a blue light on standby just the clock
          i can only think it's the settings in glass hd skin i use
          and if the clock is to bright it can be dimmed in the
          display set up in the box menu
