Help needed - direct recording to NAS

    Hi,

Is there anyone who could give me a step by step guide for setting up my NAS for direct recording from my DM800.
I have set up the NAS in as much as I can go into "media player" on the DM and watch films from it but I can't seem to get it to record.
I have read Devilfish's post but that was originally 18.05.2008 and the CONFIG option isn't on my DM webpage.
I am using Enigma2 Phoenix image and wondered if anyone could help me with an "idiots guide"
    Thanks in advance

    Hi M8
Depends on image on mine I went into:
    Menu/setup/system/Recording paths
    select: timer recording path
    press menu select switch filelist
    press menu add bookmark

You will need a directory called movie and you should then be able to add a bookmark to record.

In my case my network mount was already pointed at movie but I had to create a sub directory of movie before it would show up.

Only fumbled my way throught this last night so cant give you a step by step but hope this help.

    Cheers Whatsup

There is an option in "network " tab called " network browser ", use this to scan for your nas drive, enter user/pass and select "use as hard drive replacement "
Should create its own movie folder an away you go!
