dm 800 se tuner problem plz help

hi iv just got a 800se from china today and iv installed new enigma 2 image but any time i try to scan a sattelite it comes up tuner not configured or something like that any ideas

Have you set the tuner to what sat you want to scan??

If you just want a fixed dish on 28.2 then.

Setup
ok
Service Searching
ok
Tuner Configuration
ok
ok
left/right arrow on configuration mode to simple
down arrow to mode
left/right to single
down arrow to satellite
left/right to astra 28.2e

thanks jok ever so much that worked m8, thankyou, how do i load buquets into it with dreamup? do i reload enigma 2 settings? iv only done it on a dm 500s

I am also having a problem where i get a message i need to confirgure my 800hd se tuner to get any service. I have followed your advice below....but when i get to satellite step....i get no option at all when i try to move left or right. Instead i get a message "Nothing Connected" even though the cable is connected. Underneath there is also one more step named as "DISEqC". When i move left or right it only gives me option YES or NO. I have tried by choosing both and still i dont get 28.2 satellite.

I would highly appreciate your kind help.

What image are you using?.. I also had this problem with some images. Id suggest try flashing a new image. Try NewNigma2, working 100% fine with everything on my SE Clone.
