Connecting an External usb hard drive to dm 800hd

I have a clone dm 800hd and using the latest black hole image...i want to connect my western digital 320gb usb external portable hard drive to the box for recording. Could someone give me a little guide on the correct procedure for connecting it up properly please.

Get the USB from your HDD.... And plug it into your dreambox.... Done.. Connected!..
