Bootloader #82 to #84

I have a dm800se clone, sim 2.1 & bootloader #82, and the image i use is newenigma2. I want to flash another patched image for clones which has bootloader #84.
Can i flash the image directly or i have to flash something else to update the bootloader first?

na...you can flash the image staright on as long as it's a patched one...................don't really make much difference the different bootloaders....i have found

true i have been flashing all sorts of images o not had the dreaded no ca error.
