Hi in d c center got green connect from pc to box and red to router checked all ip adress and codes but still cant connect also checked all leads all ok any suggestions would be welcomed thanks mial

have you clicked the search button under
the router on the dcc panel and then click search
on the next panel and see if anouther ip is found

i use dcc 296
when i use this, i use as conection type "direct crossover"
this just shows the pc and dreambox
why do you need the router ticked?
i have harddisk and usb stick ticked
mial
a little more info on how mine is connected.
i have the dm800 connected to the router with ethernet cable
and i use a laptop connected wirelessly.Comment

Have you connected the box directly to your pc with a crossover cable, if you have in the top left corner select direct connection and you should only see a pic of the pc and box.
If you have you pc connected to your router and the box connected to the router you will need to change the top left box to router and enter each ip address.
Take a screen print to see how you have the main screen setup as well.Comment
