Transmission integrated ?

Hello,

I have a DM800 HD clone and I'm trying since yesterday to install Tranmission (bittorrent client) and RuTorrent...but none of those plugins seems to work (I got nothing in the web browser...)

I have an old sim 1 SSL69...there is any patched image with Transmission integrated ?

I have a SE and I couldn't find any images with Transmission integrated, I also had problems with my SE freezing. I fixed the problem by downloading at a slower speed. When downloading at anything over 400kbs.. the box freezes with 10-20 minutes.

Thank you for your answer...I tried the Gemini V5.1 with eTorrent client integrated. I also installed the Transmission package, but I'm still having freezing, I lost all the lan access to the box and there is no upload at all even if my BOX is in the DMZ.

Any suggestion ?

Perhaps try reducing your speed (set download & upload limits, start small then work your way up day by day). Also limit your number of connections to peers.

I have a SE (which processor is 33% faster, compared to the 800 HD), and the MAX download/upload that I can do (so far, with the box remaining stable) is 350kbps Download / 70kbps Upload. I can download at this speed all day long, and my box works fine.

If I up it to say 500kbps Download / Unlimited Upload. My box `crashes`. So my target is in between there.
I also have a limit of 10 peers and overall 100 peers (10 connections).

Lets also get the terms right so we dont go round in circles.
- Freezing - The picture or box `freezes` for a second or two, but continues running.
- Crashing - The box completely stops, no input via remote, and telnet, ftp does not work. Must turn off and on again from mains.

Does your box `Freeze` or `Crash`?

I fact, there is no crash nor freeze ! The only problem that I have is related to lan access to the box (streaming, web interfaces, DCC...).

I have an inactive etorrent button in the web interface on the DM800 clone and the Device&Versions info as follows:
Devicename: dm800
Enigma Version: ramiMAHER-
Image Version: Release SIM2 riyad66 3.2.1 2012-03-19
Frontprozessor Version: VNone
Webinterface Version: 1.6.8

I also failed to install transmission_1.76-r0.

So, I'd like to try the 2.33 Transmission version.
