DM800HD SE Image?

i'm about to order a dm800 se, but wondering what is the best image for it? (clone ofcourse)

just looking for something that has a good EPG, and recording functions?

Matter of trying a few and see which one you like sometimes even which one the box likes.

Ive had newnigma2 by sat4fun for last few months which has been pretty stable for me. Mind you Ive not been on for a while so not sure if a newer better image has been released.

also, can anyone explain the difference between

the ferrari sim and the normal 2.10?

SIM 2.01/2.1 as far as I'm concerned has better support in that there are a wide variety of images which get updated on a frequent basis.

I tried a few image and settled on OpenPLi.

DreamboxUk 2.1.1 image based on OpenPLi 2.1, great feature inbuilt bouquet updater and picons updater no need to use pc

got 320gb drive working easy, pausing , recording, rewinding live tv flawless
got 7 day epg from cross epg
picons , channel logos on front oled scree, easy via inbuilt picons updater no need to goto pc

I have OpenPli 2.1 image working fine, decided to try DreamboxUk image as its based on OpenPli 2.1 with added feature of updating channel list and picons via blue button

Got all off the following working preety easily in newNigma:
- Installed a 320GB HDD, Very easy to install and setup.
- 7 Day CoolMans EPG
- Transmission (Torrent client)
- Pause/Record/Rewind Live TV (Permanent Timeshift)
- Quick Buttons & Media player (standard)

So everything you'd need.
Go DreamElite or newNigma2, you cant go wrong.
I would like to try Open PLI, but I just can't find a working one!. any help from anyone? (I have a clone 800 SE)
