Help wit Sgt FlipFlop bouquets

Hi all,

I cannot get my head round these bouquets and would like some help.

I can flash...re-flash...installed internal HDD, so am quite handy, but what has beaten me is that any time I try to update the bouquets I get messages telling me I have to upload from box to pc first. I have even installed an image (which I don't like) with a bouquet uploader, but want to go back to Openpli.

Can someone please explain how to update these bouquets step by step please ?

I have read that but unless I do a clean new install of the bouquets I am left with a panel which says something like
You have to upload files from box to pc.

Can I not just download the new bouquet from Sgt and use Dreamboxedit to overwrite the old ones in the box.

I know this sounds daft but something which appears so simple is a nightmare.

have you downloaded the latest update from sgt flip flop?
what version of dbe are you using?
have you looked and followed the instructions that are in the DreamboxEdit Guide.
you should be able to overwrite the present channel list for the new one.

Still keeps asking me to "upload file set from Dreambox" The file you are trying to load contains no services"

It is FF 290112

It sounds like DBE isn't recognising the bouquet, I'd suggest re-downloading the bouquet.

d/load sgt flipflop bouquets to pc then open dbe and locate
the bouquets on pc and this should display the bouquets
in dbe

Also when you are going into the setup page where you put ip of box are you hitting new enigma2 settings at the bottom and then saving?

Yes I save to newenigma2 and box is dm800se. I am constantly asked to upload from box to PC.

The point is it will not download at all. Only asks me the previous question and offers the one choice. "O.K."

You need to go and download the bouquet from this site, extract it.

Then open up dbe, select options, set it up for your box and save, press FTP, all that should be ticked are auto reload settings and remove unused bouquet. Now hit browse and browse to the folder so in the right hand pane you can services, bouquets and other files there, press okay and now press "send files to dreambox", as there is a "receive files from dreambox".

If you still can't get it can you screen print your FTP page and options page as you have them set up just now?

I think the above is spot on, as if I open dbe and point it to an invalid folder I get a similar message, so the rar has to be extracted/expanded, then do an open and point it at the folder where the lamedb is.

Re-loaded both Dreamedit and FlipFlop. Now working.
