Dou I always have to re-scan after image change?

    Hi again,

    Many questions today...DM800se

Is there any way to store / restore all settings on Dreambox so when reflashing an image you don't have to re-scan, ccconfig etc. ?

    Thanks again.

if you got bouquets made up, you just save to pc. just load them back on with dreamset once image is on and away you go again. no need rescan!

As said above, no need to rescan, set the tuner up as it's supposed to be then use a local copy of a bouquet and blast that to the box. I normally then have to do a reboot to get the channels but sometimes the channels do appear without the reboot.

What about the dreaded line not spoken of? Does this have to be re-entered ?

Yes, any customisation that you do will have to be redone. So on my PC I have all the files that I'd need after a reflash saved away.

No, you do not have to re-scan every time you change image.

Generally.. When I flash a image..
            1. Backup your current bouquets
            2. Backup any other `settings` ;D
Usually located in var/keys or etc/CCcam.cfg

Flash the image. Set up the tuner, then send the bouquets over to the box. (You may need to restart and then again setup the tuner configuration, For me it resets to `19.2E` after flashing a bouquet for the first time, then it just works as normal).
            Then any cams/plugins/settings.
            - Thanks to those who deserve them, and none to those who don't...
