Help required with my mgcamd/cccam/oscam/cscam confusion!!

    Hey guys,

I'm about to go clinically insane here...

For the last few weeks I've been trying to get mgcamd working on my Dreambox DM800HDse but without any result. I love figuring things out myself but I'm actually nowhere near, in fact further away than when I started, so decided you guys are my last hope! I've searched and read many forums in relation to all this and to be honest I've probably confused myself more by reading various bits and not understanding them as much as I have.

Is there somewhere definitive that explains exactly what each of the different cams do, why and what's so different about them? I've had cccam 2.1.4 running fine, but I've been told for what I want to do I need oscam/newcs/mgcamd 1.35 and god knows what else! All of which I can't for the life of me understand or get working...

    My set up:
    DM800DHse (clone)
    running 210-SSL82-OpenBlackHole_DM800se_by_sat4fun
    with motorised 1.2m dish

    What I'm aiming for:
Share my s*y card internally and also to use mgcamd 1.35. I do apparently have the configured files for mgcamd to add when it's installed and working right.

So are oscam and mgcamd the same type of thing as cccam and not something that runs alongside each other? And then what's the difference between Newcamd and Camd3? I'd love to find a tutorial to read up on that explains all of this stuff in Laymans terms!

As it stands I've 'reset' myself to start from scratch again with a completely fresh flash install of Open Black Hole to try again. I believe mgcamd 1.38 is already pre-installed on it, but I need 1.35 apparently (no idea what the difference is!)

If anyone can please put me out of my misery I'll be eternally grateful!

Many, many thanks in advance and sorry for the long post!
