    DM800HDSE or Vu+ DUO HD

Finally biting the bullet and upgrading to Hd, would welcome a bit of input from peeps on which box you are using and which you prefer if youve used both.
Choices are Dm800HDSE or the Vu+Duo HD.
Im hoping to use the winner to replace my Cyclone live to stream HD movies through my network via Ethernet, so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

from what i have read and been told by users it looks like
both are great quality and get lots of support. let me
say i have never had any serious problems with genuine
dreamboxes of any model the quality of them is first class.
i think it's just what box you fancy. the vu boxes are a lot bigger
than the dreambox models and users of both swear by them,
plus there are also clone versions of both makes. i am seriously
thinking of testing a vu, i also think they have better images than
dreambox. also speaking to vu users they say they would'nt go back
to a dreambox, but i bet dreambox users would also say they would'nt change

VU+ Duo is miles better, but then again, it costs more.
The dm800se is a very good box too, but VU wins hands down.

Be wary though, becuase there are vu duo clones, which dont have much support yet.

these clones have only been available for a few weeks
and from what i read they can use original images but
i'm sure that will be stopped very soon if not aready stopped
and then images will need to be cloned for them, i agree with
you about seeing how they go for support before buy one
but these are the images said to be tested and working up to now

it's simple mate, if you wan't a twin tuner go for the DUO....if you don't need a twin tuner go for the SE

both great boxes by all accounts.

I have a couple of the dm800HD and an SE as i'd rather have a couple of boxes than a twin tuner. serves my purpose.
