DM800SE Fan Control 2 plugin, fan speed keeps dropping ?

Hi all , i have a DM800se with Dreamboxuk 2.1.1 image all working hard drive installed, i installed fan control 2 from plugins, got it to turn off fan when box is on standby, I have set it to 4 pin as thats what the fan is, I can set rpm via PWM, to any rpm but it drops back down to 2000rpm or even down to 1000rpm, why dont it stick to what speed i set it too ?

The fan in my SE stops when in standby and I don't have any plugin installed, am using OpenPLi.

hi , its ok i wanted to control the rpm, had to set fan as 3 pin in fan control 2 , now i can choose however fast i want it to spin and can set it to turn off in standby
