800 se... to buy a clone or not????

Had my 800se hd from Peter in china back in December, he has now left the company and now I deal with someone called Tina. Have had no problems so far. Worth paying extra for 800se hd over 800hd that's my opinion.

HELP!!

I have just recieved my dm800se WIFI clone from China today- very please with it except...

It came with the allrussian-dm800se-02-01-2011, boot84 ,sim2.10 image.

I have flashed it with Newnigma2-dm800se-11.02.2012-sim2.10-ssl84b-by sat4fun

and now i am unable to get the built in wifi to work!!

It detects my wireless network and I am entering my WPA key but when I check the status it just fails.

Anyone got any ideas?

You need special flashing software for some clones.
I found out my 800HDse-box actually is a a Sunray HDse.
To flash it I used SunRay flashup Dreamup., a special version of DreamUp.
I got it from dm800sim2.com/
I thought instructions were included.
Make sure you have the right bootloader and image ready.

If this don't work, you should check at your seller. He ( or she) probably knows what you have to use or do to bring it back alive again !!

Hi all, i am thinking of buying a 800se, but i have a few questions for the wise ones in this forum. Is it worth buying a clone or will it brick after a few weeks. where is the best place to get one from either over the net or in the uk. and finally how easy is it to tell a clone from an original box.

Bought mine from someone at aliexpress.Here is how:
I searched for 800HDse-sellers who offer free delivery, and then I checked who had sold the most 800HDse-boxes, and assumed then that that would be a trustworthy seller.
I paid on a Thursday-evening, the next day I saw that the parcel had already been handed to post at 4AM.
I received an email with DHL-trackingnumber, and I saw that on Sunday the box was already in Germany. And believe it or not, on Monday , 11AM, I had my dreambox(clone).Great service from the Far East.

Tho I had some hickups in the beginning caused by flashing other images , I 'm very happy and proud of it, and never regretted the purchase.
