Got it.

FTP'd ipk file to root and installed local extension - sorted.

Spoke too soon about the wifi working!!


LAN adapter - OK
Wireless network - OK
DHCP - OK



All ok until I unplug my ethernet cable and then IP address is un-confirmed and no internet connection!!!



Tried turring DHCP off and assigning IP manually but no joy.


I have hunted through the settings on my router but nothing seems to work.



ANy ideas?

Hi trotsky75,when you turn DHCP off,and inputting IP manually are you rebooting box in order to save settings?

Presume you already tried above re reboot? , Only thing I can suggest is Google the fault it gives you, somebody else may have had same issue, Google it an put the exact fault it displays in quote marks " " , with dm800se out of the quotes, sorry mate, not much help I know, but I can't suggest anything else as I avoid wireless on all my devices, bar phones obviously,

Thanks guys - seem to be making progress but still not quite working.

Have found some sim2 wifi drivers in the tspanel which seem to help once I have assigned ip address manually (dhcp off).

I now get green ticks for everything:
Lan -OK
WIFI - OK
IP - OK
Nameserver - OK

But when I try to connect to interenet - eg through tspanel - it tells me there is no internet connection.

Have re-booted box and router many times now.

Still searching google......
