dreambox 800hd pvr recording questions

hi there i have been trying to insert a hard drive into my dreambox
but failed (error mount failed) at initializing, so i was wondering could i use my freeview recorder in anyway to record from my
dreambox ?

if your freeview pvr can take an input via scart or whatver, then yeah

Have you pressed blue,blue,devices manager and mounted the hdd then red to save and reboot
Also you could try a different image.

no i havent tried that i have took the hdd back out thinking
its not going to work cheers
