Hi all

As the title says totally new to the satellite side. I have a starview 7 box (cable), with it needing a new subscription I have decided at going the satellite side.

I have an old s*y dish on the side of the house plan to buy new LNB and coax
Looking at getting a new dreambox 800, can anyone recommend where to purchase one? but prices go from ?180 to ?400!!!!. Also sites are sells Smartcard Readers with it (Sorry if I am unable to mention this)
I have a spare 250gb hard drive.
Can anyone point me in the right direction it would be much appricated.

use the forum search function, there are many threads on buying dm800 from china and suppliers. You can get a good clone dm800pro for ?120 or the newer dm800se for around ?160 delivered Have a look at the stickies in dm800 section so you know what to expect when you buy one.
