cross epg

guys i feel like an amature no not that kind you dirty dog
i've installed cross epg a 100 times before but cannot seem to get it working on my image which is the same image i always use it goes through the motions but hangs on the radio channel and doesent reboot like it used to any help guys

* Press menu then goto ts panel, if not there its in menu/plugins
* Now press addons
* goto sim2 addons
* look for EPG
* Look for crossepg then download
* Now press blue to restart
* Press menu then setup
* Now goto the bottom to crossEPG
* Pull down to upgrade rytec providers
* Now goto Config at top
* Change the storage device to your HDD just push it to right to change path
* Schedule time to say 04:00 am then press red for back
* Now goto XMLTV Providers
* Push right to skip down to bottom and press green on Rytec UK XML TV then red for back
* Now go in to Open TV Providers, enable the Sky Uk Open Tv 28.2 then red for back
* Now skip down to download now and let it down load, takes about 10 to 15 min
Once thats done, press the bouquet button the remote and press the option at bottom for multi epg for a better view

its not there whats the newest version i did download this from the ts panel strange

went on xml tv providers and updated that done everything you said but its not loading the epg i have to force it to reoot as it gets stuck on radio channel

try uninstalling it reboot and re install again.

tried hdd and lower usb slot both not working pulling my hair out
i had plenty of experience in the past with cross epg when i had a problem used to reboot and put on bbc1 etc etc and eventually it worked but tried so much dont no what to do now ?

I have used crossEPG on BH 1.6 + and currently on PLi Beta 2.1 and always worked great.

Make sure you HDD is initialized and mounted correctly before attempting to set this up.

I have used CrossEPG across so many images (Blackhole, dreamelite, nemisis, and currently using it with NewNigma), Works perfect with them all.

i have newnigma installed but cant seem to uninstall cross epg
everything seems to be set up as i usually do but it wont reboot on its own and when i do reboot it theres no epg

ok so i've managed to uninstall cross epg and restarted my dm800 whats the newest version of crossepg ?
just want to make sure its a working version before i install it

The one I use is in Tspanel/sim2 addons /plugins epg/crossepg_0.6.2

Sorry for digging a oldish thread up.

Did you sort this? as i have the same problem.

My box will switch to the radio channel, and either just hang (does not read channels or titles etc) or it will download some and reboot halfway through. and not update the epg

Same prob here. When using XML provider updating the epg hangs on the radio channel.
