I am having problems as it wont update. If I delete crossepg and then install it again it finds the downloaded file (extepgdata) on my usb. I think that I have a problem can someone point me in the right direction please. It is setup to look for the usb.

Open up the path of where you saved it. Look for the Crossepg folder.

Delete everything inside that folder, everything.

reboot and try again. No need to uninstall crossepg.

I deleted everything from my Usb crossepg directory and did a reboot and it picked up all the data. From where I have no idea. I have searched through DCC and cannot find the file...

sometimes if you look in hard drive and usb i find funny things in there .also may depend on what image you are using old vix would run crossepg but my newer one cannot.

update to latest openvix image and crossepg will work. its a bit strange in that it doesn't change to radio channel and you just get starting downloader and loading data. So when it starts give it a couple of minutes to finish. in the past you switched to radio channel, got lots of messages like reading titles, reading summaries, parsing titles, parsing summaries, converting data etc so you knew something was happening. The latest version of crossepg is not so obvious but it does work

only did the solo on sunday,2 days later it was an old one again,epg is working cant remember with too many boxes .
