hi all total novice with all this stuff got dm 800 hd at weekend . i bought it plug and play working great was wondering is there any good dl for tv listings with something like series link or is this asking a bit much? and is it possible to dl it straight unto the dreambox? any help greatly appreciated

Hi mate
Now you have bought the box you now need to work out how to get the best from it.
Have a good look round the forum, all the info you need is here. Regards your question on tv listings, you can download a up to date set of bouquets compiled by STFlipFlop or catseye from bouquets & skins section.
You will also need a program called dreambox edit, you will get that from the download section. There is also a tutorial on how to edit your channel list download to your area, and your requirements.
When you have sussed out how to edit the list's, you will then need to ftp them to your box.

TV listings..not channel lists :L

You need crossEPG from tspanel. And set it to automatically download your listings once a day.

Im using dreamelite phoenix edition, is it a similar setup for that? And if so do i have to have a hard drive to get open tv?

my mistake thought i had got the tspanel sorted but it must just have been another epg program i was viewing, have tried since and can get it transferred from usb to dreambox ok but when i go to the menu section i keep getting the message: some plugins are not available: .extensions/tspanel (no module named tspanel.plugin) any help greatfully received i think i am using openpli if this helps
