re-flash help

trying to re flash my dm800hd pro and when i do the power off and hold power button bit i get the ip address and when i try connecting to it on pc im getting a 404 error?? also when trying to shutdown box with remote its crashing with green screen?

cheers buddy got it, only problem i have now is epg, have tried following guides on here but its only showing certain channels on the box??

A bit more info would help, what image did you flash on and what epg plugin are you using.

right update here, i have a dm800hd pro with sim2 and blackhole image, image has been working for months and now when box was restarted its hanging on the boot screen?? have tried going to get into box through web browser but cant and when i set box to re flash using browser i get a red bar with an error in it?? box is showing the ip address i need for connection just cant seem too

Are you going via your router to your box also try a different browser like internet explorer and try flashing a different image as well.

You should not be getting the yweb screen you should get the screen were you click update firmware at the bottom
does the lcd on the box stay on showing the ip

yes mate its showing ip address on it but when i try to do it on browser thats what i get

If your getting that screen, load IE inprvt browsing then type the box IP.

In private browsing.

I have never had that problem when flashing before but when I switch networks and go from my my dm800 and then to my dm500 on a different network I get that problem as they both have the same IP.

But by clearing cookies or using the IE in private browsing then it will clear the problem, so should work just the same for him.

thats done the trick buddy and have re flashed and working now so think i might change the image while im at this point, any suggestions? on blackhole dreamelite 1.33d v3 and sim 2.01

I'm really like the open pli 2.1 beta, bit bare to start but just add what you want to the image.

What SSL are you on? 82? If so then flash 84a bootloader then flash the pli 84b image
