    Power supply advice please?

I have just recived two boxes from china a DM800HD and a DM800SE the SE power supply adapter 12v 1.0A for the box has no led light on it and will not power on .The Dm800 has power adapter 12v 0.9A would there be any reason why i can't try this adapter to make sure the unit will work before i contact the supplier? Thanks

Good luck if you got it from china.

If they ask you to send your psu back, you may be cheaper just getting a replacement of eBay or some electrical shop.

That would be on a good day, they normally start off with asking for the main board back by default

The offer seems to be a free one with next order, but i am still talking to them.

There are two power adapters being shown for DM800SE the one that came with my box:

              Input 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 1.0A 70VA
              Output DC 12V 3.0A

But there is also this one being shown as a replacement for a DM800HD/DM800SE

              Input: 100 - 240v ~ 50/60Hz 0.9A
              Output: 12V --- 3A

Is there any reason why i cant use either?

Big price diffrence top ?11.50 bottom ?8.50

Anyone know of anywhere cheaper would be very much apppreciated

Told you, their after sales service tends to be pretty crap as I think they are all cutting their throats in terms margins.

I'm still waiting for parts to arrive for a box I ordered back in the middle of last December.
