    dm800 hd pro sound problem

    on blackhole image and have been for a while with no problems but now when i use the remote to put the volume up and down the bar is moving but the sound is not changing??? any help appreciated

      do you mean a hard reset in the menu or the resart button

        as in a shutdown then turn back on.

        Some times if rebooting you will start with no sound, so power it all off then turn back on.

          i have sound its just when using the remote to put it up or down its not working?? the bar is moving to say im putting it up or down but the volume does not change

              Scart has come out , HDMI input to TV is knackered, you have the wrong audio channel selected etc etc. There are a lot of things to try before you start flashing.

                None of them would give sound but affect the box from adjusting the audio.

                  hit the yellow button and check the audio source, if AC3 set it to downmix. this should sort it. you can set downmix as a default in the setup menu.
