Is my dm800hd dead?

Basically havent used it for about 6 months

went to fire it up and i got 'no ca error found etc....that nonsense, something like that..

anyway when i try and flash any new image on it , dreamup stops at 'calculating check sum' and goes no further..

what shall i do?

just tried this but on every sim selection it tells me 'no configuration data present, wrong boot respose'

this is on sim2.01-ssl82, sim2.01-ssl76c, 75 and the ferrari one.

what should i do now?

did you go to setting and use advance mode 2 rs232/usb

there is later versions of optiflasher try one of them also do you know what sim your box has?

yeah i used advanced mode 2 pal.

never had an idea what sim i have.

how do i check that??

try version 1 0 8 of optiflasher it think there is more options on it

to check sim is hold in power button then insert power lead while holding in button and it comes up on front panal sim and bootloader

but not sure if this works with ca error fault also check out enigma2 section in dreambox section there is loads of this kind of fault

im downloading latest version, will give that a shot.

the box wont show me sim version dude
