    Dreambox 800 hd specs

    Can I get some advice please - I am gonna buy a dreambox 800 hd se but need to know can it record only 1 channel at a time and the shotgun cable from my sky hd box - do I only connect one of the coxials in? can I record 2 channels at one time? thanks guys just need some expert advice before committing to this

    Sorry mate only one channel at a time with a DM800SE, you need a box with a twin tuner! Something like this:http://www.anandasy.com/productsxx.asp?Sendid=1292
    There is other makes and options available this is just an example, although in my opinion a great box(clone) at a good price.

      I believe the Sunray can only use one input at a time as it's a single combi-tuner. If you want a proper twin-tuner then you need something like the Vu+ Duo

        i was told that the 8000 could do it is this correct? I need a box that will cam share can somebody please recommend one with a twin tuner thanks

          DM8000 is twin tuner, VU Duo or Ultimo is cheaper. There are some decent Vu Duo clones around at a good price - have a browse through the forum for details on those.

            m8 as lincsat says duo clone is hard to beat at the moment

            works no different to genuine and at around 190 very good value

            beats any dm 800 hands down
