USB working but not filling up

    Hiiiiiiiiiii,

I've been using a 32Gb usb stick to record stuff on a dreambox 800hd.

It works ok, but then after a while a message shows up saying the disk is full. I check the USB stick and it has 24 Gb left.

Does anyone have an idea of whats going on?

Is the USB stick in FAT32 format, if it is then this has a max file size limit of 4Gb.

      Think it might be.

So wot format does it have to be in to use the full 32Gb?

Does it mean that I'll lose whatever is saved on there?

            yeah

if you format a usb stick or hdd
you lose what you have unless you back it up

            ftp in to the box
and copy whats on the stick over to your pc

"Don't try and use it in an image without usb drivers in kernel, sorry"

What format does it have to be in?
