have a dm800hd bought as repair or spares .. reflashed it and working but came with a psu thats 12v 2 amp , every few hours its just reboots for no reason all it can be ok or hours .. have another 800 brick ordered that 12 3 amp same as my other .. would swap with the 800 downstairs but going out and the wife will go mad if it happens to that one when lm out ,.,.


can this cause this problem ?

if the box was running hot could it reboot also and is it well vented.

l have a lappy fan on and its cold m8 .. just think this amp might be the problem . not sure if 2 to 3 is a problem , l know a 500 will not work right as its 1.5 amp

The 2 amp should work fine....the 3 amp block is used on the 800 SE,I'd use the 3 amp if you have it,friend of mine just had probs with his and I gave him a 2amp from a DM500,works fine now.He was having rebooting probs previous.

trying other 800 psu now , been fine for the last 4 hours ,, normally would of rebooted by now
