How do I get channels back on dm800

Hi It's a dm800 & im new to this box
Can anyone tell me how to get my channels back that are missing, like ch 5 as disappeared and a few others
Appreciate any help!

channels move frequency quite a lot meaning loads stop working,a fresh scan will bring in the new info and overwrite the older stuff,there may be a bouquet around that has favourites preloaded and upto date,others may advise you more on correct one and procedure.

a good bookmark i use is called kingofsats as they monitor all the channels up there and when they moved and info to do a manual scan if needed.

Ok m8 n1 doing a rescan now, see if that works,

And others... Shall I factory reset first or won't tha matter ?

If you can't find them after a rescan, reupload your bouquets using Dreamboxedit and either Catseyes or Sgt Flipflops settings from here DM800 Bouquets & Skins

Do I need a laptop to update ? Or just remote.. As my laptops is nackered ?

You need to ftp the settings over to your box m8.

Have you checked your satellite listings under new to see if it's there after the rescan.

Sgt flipflop.....cnt I do nothing via remote ?

2011 sgt flipflop is in my channel list.

If you have done a scan they will not show in favourites, They will be in all channels

View the channel you want, Make sure its highlighted, Press the menu button, Add service to bouquet, Then choose where you want it

Only way that will help you if you don't have a laptop
