DM800HD clone + sat alignment question

    Hi

I have recently bought a new box - the DM800hd clone. The guy I bought it off flashed it and set it up for me on USALS.

He could get hotbird and a few other sats but not astra1 or astra2. He said the dish needed re-aligning to pick these up.

Problem is it is a chimney mounted motorized dish - too high for him or me to do.

However spoke with a sat guy today and he questioned whether the dish did need physical re-alignemnt as it worked fine before with my old receiver - Globalstar 1100.

His view was the settings needed changing on the box - what do you think guys?

I am new to the dm800 so don't know - could you advise

    Thanks

Check your tuner settings and make sure your longitude and latitude is correct for where you live , you can find your long and lat in dishpointer.com

Long and lat are correct - and it can still only pick up satellites from 13E East nothing to the west - Astra1 etc.

Does this mean I do need it physically realigned?
