Crossepg dm 800hd se installation help

Hello,

I would like to install crossepg on to my box dm800hd se.Iam using newnigma2 image.I've read lots about it but strugling to install it .

If someone could guide me through the process and what software i need to use i would be much apreciated.

Do you have tspanel in that img? of not install it

then do the following

Press menu then goto ts panel, if not there its in menu/plugins
* Now press addons
* goto sim2 addons
* look got EPG
* Look for crossepg then download
* Now press blue to restart
* Press menu then setup
* Now goto the bottom to crossEPG
* Pull down to upgrade rytec providers
* Now goto Config at top
* Change the storage device to your HDD just push it to right to change path
* Schedule time to say 04:00 am then press red for back
* Now goto XMLTV Providers
* Push right to skip down to bottom and press green on Rytec UK XML TV then red for back
* Now go in to Open TV Providers, enable the Sky Uk Open Tv 28.2 then red for back
* Now skip down to download now and let it down load, takes about 10 to 15 min
Once thats done, press the bouquet button the remote and press the option at bottom for multi epg for a better view

Thank you.I've done it. It does update every day at 4am but no epg displayed.I have done it manualy too you can see the bar bottom of screen but no epg displayed.
What Im doing wrong?

Been having the same problems recently. Try rebooting your box and the EPG should appear (re-load doesnt work for me) has to be a reboot. Wether somebodyelse has a permanant fix for this problem I dont know.

Do away with "sky UK open TV" entry and leave the eutectic selected, I also use the BBC entry but no open TV, don't know why but open cocked it up on mine

My setting are:

storage device: HDD
enable csv import: No
force epg reload on boot: No
Dowload on tune:yes
scheduled download: once a day
schedule download 04:00
reboot after scheduled dowload:no
show as plugin :yes
show as extension:yes
show force reload as plugin:no
XMLTV:rytec UK BBCi XMLTV
Open tv providers:Sky UK open TV astra2 on 28.2
XEPGDB:rytec UK BBCi XMLTV (XEPGDB repacked)
Scripts providers: I Don't know what to select options are:
Alias do simple aliases handling
mediaprem: download epg from mediaset websit
RAI: download epg from RAI website
exsample test script ( do nothing)
MHW2 providers:
CSD france
CSD NL +
digital+spain

With these settings no EPG please help to set it up

What image are you using? In OpenPLi there is an option that specifies what EPG language(s) to show, no idea if this is the cause but might be worth checking.

Might be a suggestion to change your image if you are consistently having issues with Crossepg. I notice you have a DM800se try an image recently recommended to me. It runs faultlessly in all aspects. Give it a try you will not be disappointed.

m8 i use bh image and crossepg and coolmans with no problems on clone duo

and on dm 800 pro with oozoon image also cross epg and coolmans
