DM800HD se

Hi all, I have just purchased a DM800HD SE (clone) and would like a bit of help if someone would be so kind.
I used to have a eurovox but that went so know i thought i would try a DM. The eurovox was pretty much plug and play but there is a whole lot more this this dreambox than i thought.
Can someone answer these questions for me
1 Do i have to flash it?
2 what is an image, do i need it and how do i put it on the box.
3 what is a bouqet and do i need it etc etc.
It all looks a bit confusing on here

1. Depending on what image is on the box at the minute you may want to flash a better image to your box. 2. An image is what makes your box work, a firmware . There is extensive tutorials on flashing on the forum. 3. A bouquet is a list of channels in a folder - eg movies, documentaries, kids, sport and so on. Take one step at a time,get the box up and running with the image you have at the minute and get used to the feel of the interface , the controller , then proceed from there and see what you want from the dreambox. There is a lot to learn but you will pick it up as you go along , everything is covered on this forum so search and post as you need to. Ps post as much detail about your dreambox , dish , as possible and it will make it easier for others to help you.

Thanks for that shankill... the box is still in its own box so the image will be whatever the factory put on it and the dish is the usual sky set up.
