Dreambox 800hd pvr clone HELP

Hi all, I'm a newbie to the dreambox and am having difficulties already. I purchased a 800hd pvr and by all accounts it is a clone for the price I paid and where I got it from. When I first plugged it in it had the enigma image, I did the satelite search and it picked up about 1000 channels. I was able to watch the obvious ones BBC1 ITV all in hd. There was an update for the firmware which I clicked and thats where it all went wrong. The box started to reboot and thats where it froze on the reboot page. In the box came a disc with some files on it, cccam dreamup and so forth. There was 2 files with ntf in it which I believe to be images so I flashed the box via the router. When the box started to reboot it came up with a genesis image then the same thing happened again it FROZE I think I'm just making it worse please please help

u shouldnt of updated it m8 , u have put the original image on now and its a clone so will not work , the inf image u have put on your desktop and unplug box . now hold the power plug and plug back and keep hold of the power button and u will see the word stop then remove finger . u will see a ip addres now on the front of the box , put that in your web browser and a page will open ( if u r connected to a router ) and click upgrade and browse for the file u saved on desktop and open and wait for it to install to the box and start again or they this image sim201-SS82-de-133dv3PHOENIX2-dm800-13052011.nfi in downloads . BUT there have been a few this week do this and can not recover the box .. dreambox my have planted a file in the new update to stop upgrading ?

Hi smirnoff, Didnt think an update could do so much damage!! I have done the ip address and like I say it came up with the genesis image and did exactly the same thing froze. Shud I download another image and try that?

Its letting me use the menu button now and I have done a satelite search but it has only come up with 20 odd channels and when I try and watch one it comes up with the message about cccams,

its still the genesis one but the user pages are not as good as the enigma that was on it originally. Where can I download enigma image from? any ideas. the message says there is no tuner?

l haven't used that image m8 but go into menu settings and tuner and change with left button to simple settings and scan again
