Dreambox DM800HD help from new!

Hi all,

Complete newbie to this and have searched forums for a guide but coming up with nothing so far.

I have the basic s*y package and about to buy a DM800HD to unlock full thing. However, sellers are adding around ?100 to prepare it for me and I would be quite happy to give this a go myself.

From reading up it would seem that I flash the box and have to install ccam software (any links would be appreciated to the software needed). From there it would seem that to get the best picture/service I would need to get a paid for server to avoid freezes/glitches.

Am I heading in the right direction? I would really appreciate if someone could point me in the direction of a step by step guide/website.

Do it yourself mate, there is a bit of learning to be done but you'll pick it up , get your box set up at home,connected to dish ,connected to internet for downloading settings, plugins and more,and then move on from there, and as for the paid server , we don't talk about it on the forum - google cs and you'll find plenty of info, you'll need to post as much details about your box so people on the forum can help you.

hi i am too new to use dreambox, I would also ask whether you should pay for a serve to get tv channels ..? and if yes so how .. and if no how ..?
so I'd love to help me with it thanks
