Changing Satellite???

Hi all,
I have downloaded an image and was about to put it on my new 800Hd Se clone this morning but i could not get any channels at all when i tried a quick scan beforehand. Looking thru the menu it is not set up to 28.2. but this satellite is not in the list!!! so how do i change it??
Everywhere i look for help it seems to assume your sat settings are allready there.

What image have you downloaded?

If you want something that works more or less out the box, id recommend the dreamboxuk.com image, the blackhole image always gets positive remarks but I didn't get as far as trying that one.

Also make sure your tuner settings are set correctly because if its set to to say you have disec it may think 28.2 is on the other one.

So you currently have the image that comes as standard with the clone?

I didn't look around that one I took it off straight away but that could be your problem.

Don't worry about the sat list on the image you have at the minute because when you flash the new image it will wipe everything off the box anyway, flash your newnigma image ( double check that it is the correct image for your box And that it's for 800se clone before flashing) then set the newnigma image up and 28.2 east should be available in your tuner , if not its easy to put one on with dreambox control centre (dcc) and an XML file.
