Can you remember what bootloader your box was on before you flashed the DBUK image, as you will have to use the Sunray flashup tool to get another image on your box.

clear the box this way mate.

      Items required:
A TO B mini-usb male to male [same as a camera USB] & Cat5 Network Cable
these long A to B camera cables are available at maplins if you dont have one

[if your model is a clone use the sunray version of dreamup]

      Process:

1)first on the Dream 500HD/dm800se turn off with the switch on
      the rear panel

2)next connect the cable for its part mini-usb port and
"Service" of the Dream 500HD and the USB to a USB port on your PC
and also the Lan Cable from your Router

3)Just plug it in, the PC will detect new hardware connected to the system:

4)The PC will ask the driver for this new component,
Windows 7 will download the driver Automaticly for you
the driver is cp210x usb to uart bridge controller

      5)Open the Windows Device Manager,
and you will see the new hardware installed,
will appear as COM port (even a USB cable).
In the following example, is recognized as the cable into the port COM4.

6)next opened the universal DreamUP 1.3.3.9 [this is the latest version]
and select the update COM port (like any other model of Dreambox).
At this point, we choose the COM port that we appeared in the previous step
(COM4 in this example).and make sure there is a tick in the use network box

7)Press the Connect button the DreamUP universal panel and then go to the
dreambox and power it up to turn on again now the Dream 500HD/800se will
now to start up loading firmware.and once compleated the dreamup loader will
go in to HTTP mode you then click the flash button and find the correct image
then on the window click open and it will load on the dreamup and load on your
dreambox once fully loaded exit the loader and turn your dreambox off and on
again at the rear switch now the image will boot and you can the configure the box

Then it will be more than likely 82a find an image with a bootloader of 82a and flash that back on and it should be ok, any future images with a different bootloader you flash the bootloader first and before you switch off the 800se you flash the image staright after.

I think you need to do some Guide reading

Had the same problem, CA not Found on my DM 800 clone after flashing my new box that came in on Saturday. Managed to revive it using Null Modem to USB cable and DreamUP. Flashed with Nemesis v2.5 (enigma2 image). Works fine now
But use USB to USB cable as per benny/9 post, I didn't know this works - as it should be easier to get then Null Modem cable.
Mine is also sim2.1 box with bootloader 84
                    Good luck

Hi, is it the new dm800se with the mini flash button at the back,

if yes no need for mini usb or dreamup, just hold mini flash button, replug in power, will get IP address, then flash as normal

what you should have done with the dbuk image is flash but dont restart, then flash bootloader 84b , then restart and will go through fine

                        Hi barrox
Similar issue when I tried to flash a new image on my clone after having lots of issues with the current image. Do I follow the same procedure as benny/9 just with the null modem cable? Does the Nemesis function OK with the clone, I guess it does.

majority of the patched images have bootloader on them already.......also, if you had a image with #82 bootloader...does not mean you can flash only images with #82 bootloader.

you can flash any image. the images in the downloads section here will say on the title the bootloader version and i'm sure most of them have bootloader already on them so no need to flassh bootloader separately after flashing image.

i haven't checked every image in downloads section....but......all the images i have uploaded contain bootloader on them already tha's for sure....
