ethernet port not working after recovering a no ca error on dm800

after getting a no ca error on a dm800 , i sorted it out with null cable and ethernet on dreamup , now the ethernet port is not working, tried all settings, new poewr supply , ethernet cable, but no joy, anybody got any clues, i was on openplibup image with boot 82 before the ca error. flashed with different images including this one but still no joy. any help appreciated guys, thanks.

Do the ethernet lights stay on at back of box when connected or just at start up.There is a thread relating to no ca error fix by bonesey in cable section. hope this helps.

Are connecting via your router or straight from pc to box as you need to use a crossover ethernet cable if your connecting from pc straight to your box.

router to box and null to pc , its the easiest way of flashing a no ca error,
