Can't comment on 30 but I've personally ordered 4 boxes, 1 being my beloved dm800se, the rest being dm800hd cause believe it or not, nobody wants to pay the extra for the dm800se even though it's so much better than the dm800hd, IMHO.

There are some Chinese suppliers that do state in their T+Cs that the buyer is liable for the cost of sending the item and the cost of returning the replacement but I've no idea about Tina and co.

She could be trying to blag some money from you so refuse, tell her that the item is still under warranty and she what she says?

I dont know her t&cs are I bought it through Aliexpress originally then she (ruby) took over the correspondence. Her wording was if I wanted to use UPS it was $33 perhaps there is a cheaper alternative. Thing is I need this board back, no decent tv with out it. I have got a dm800hd for now. I have invested too much time/money into sorting this. I may just bite the bullet and pay, it feels alittle like blackmail to me though, basically pay me or I dont send it back!

I think I will give your idea a go first though, you never know!
            Cheers for the advice.

just ask her if she chooses which service to send item back will the postage be free. It should be sent back at her cost but will have right to choose which service to use.

Why is your sig advertising a site that sells boxes?

Is that even allowed on the forums?

I sent back motherboard only on a dm500c to China before using royal mail international signed for. This was from Peng, he then claimed he didn't live at the address he told me to post to anymore.... Eventually I got a replacement board posted with another box..basically China Sellers don't, like paying postage they will always tell you to buy another box, then combine the faulty item replacement in the same package.. So your basically paying for the postage not them...

If you order another box then it'll be shipped by DHL or equivalent. Shipping via a courier does cost them quite a lot so from what I know for a single sat box around $80 of that is the shipping cost.

Ok, Result! got my board back, works great although it has the wrong image on, it has a Russian image of some sort, but Hdmi works great which was the fault originally. Not sure if its a replacement or a repair of mine but I am happy as its working great.
I ended buying a DM800hd M tuner so they shipped my board and a new tuner back by Royal mail for ?27. The tuners sell for that on Ebay so happy to sell it and effectivley have free return for my mother board
Thanks for all the help from you guys.

Brilliant new there, so you have to tempt them with gold, frankincense, myrrh and an order.

yep seems like it, but it did work. I think next time I will buy a clone from a uk supplier. If some one could list a sticky of good reliable uk suppliers it could save a few headaches for any one considering buying from China.

After reading numerous threads on numerous boards, a lot of UK sellers dropship from China and would be in the same position as you and have to send back to China to get repaired. If you are lucky and its a tuner thats blown or a PSU you might have more chance of getting a rapid replacement off another box by the dealer, but for HDMI or Motherboard faults I bet the seller would say you have to wait
