    Sunray/DM800SE HD, Enigma2, triple tuner/wifi

    Hi,
I recently bought this box hoping it would be a good alternative to Sky/Virgin/Freesat boxes but not having much luck with it.
It's connected to a Sky dish and managed to get freesat channels running, but the interface isn't very user-friendly, many remote buttons don't work ("File...not found"), chinese letters/words instead of english in some areas of the menu, no EPG, etc
Is there any image that I could load so it has:
    1. 100% english interface
    2. decent GUI, hopefully as good as a SKY/Virgin box
    3. EPG already loaded (nightmare trying to install/configure CrossEPG

    Many thanks

Which image you use is all down to personal taste, but the image alone will not yield you massive results you need to look at google and cardsharing.

I am looking for some suggestions from owners of such boxes, preferrably from the UK.
At the moment I use it for Freesat viewing (and maybe move to more advanced features once I become more familiar with it)

Attached is my current system information

        Many thanks

          DM800SE HD image

I just found/decided that what I need first is to get the Gemini 5.1 in English for DM800se HD (triple tuner/wifi, SSL84 sim 2.10)
Tried to search the Downloads section but my search doesn't return anything suitable...any ideas? (a direct link would be a life-saver, as I really don't want to burn my newly-aquired box just yet...)

          Many thanks

lastly , a list of images from other peoples backups (probably best picking out a sunray one for your unit due to the triple tuner , regular 800se only has single tuner )

                Sim2 dm800se images backups

Got this image on now and it's all english: GP3-Sunray sr4-20120323-ssl84b-sim210-by sat4fun
Scanned Asta for free channels and also installed CrossEPG, but when trying to add it to /usr/bin/enigma2.sh, can't see the usr folder. It was there with the previous image I had. Any ideas?
CrossEPG doesn't seem to be running and I assume that's why.
Also, I can see 2 HDDs instead of one, and none seems to work ("unable to create folder" when trying to initialize it and unable to record).
I can see the HDD contents when browsing the IP address from a WinXP PC and also through the Blue Panel/File Browser
Probably the 2nd HDD was "inherited" from the previous image...any way to get rid of it?

                    Many thanks

Having serious issues with storage now.
Tried several images, still unable to initialize HDD (unable to create Movie folder)
Also tried a USB stick, same error.
                      Current image SIM2-SSL84B-DM800SE_DreamboxUK-2.1.2-By_Sat4fun
Tried formatting the drives in ext3, same issue
Any ideas of an image I could use so storage works?
(apart from the original, Chinese version)

                      Many thanks

Karon your image is for a standard DM800se and not the Sunray Edition.

I think you might be best taking Bugsys advice or use one from the link provided by Southpaw
