Help Needed Dreambox 800hd not booting.

Hi All wonder if someone can help me with this problem i have i have just bought a Dreambox 800hd not sure if its a clone or not. I bought this box as a non worker when i asked the guy he said it was stuck on the bootup screen with the DM logo. I asked how he tried to flash the box and he told me that he tried the flash it via ethernet. now up receiving the box it wont boot up at all no picture on the screen. The fan is spinning and the ethernet ports are lighting up and the processor is getting warm so there is signs of life there. I have tried to communicate with the box using dreamup and also Dreamup Patched and also Sunray flash up but the box is not speaking usng this method i am using a null modem cable anyone have any ideas. i bought this as an upgrade from my DM500 which is working great any help would be great...

is the mini oled screen on the front turning on?

Mini oled display nothing on there

have you tried different power supply on it

also search dreambox optiflasher onsite here

i have used it and for flashing and bring boxs back to life might be worth a try

Open the box up, make sure the pins and connections are ok from the oled to the main board.

If possible, try some one else's front on it.

also forgot to say remove and refit the sim if you have not done so

Also try it with the tuner removed and the modem removed to see if they are shorting out the power.

Hi Tried everything that was mentioned used optiflasher 1.06 tried to reflash to no avail optiflasher did not even pick up the box just kept saying please power up or something like that ive give up on it now just going to stick with my DM 500 alot less hassle and chuck the 800 in the bin as a dead box and put it down to experience. thanks for trying
