    Dm800HD Crashing

    Hi,
    Hope you guys can help.

Ive got a Dreambox 800 hd box which is running dream elite.
The box will crash showing a green screen and show a text file over the top.
At the bottom of the text file it says :
"No space left on device : etc/enigma2/settings"
I first noticed a problem when the epg failed to download an update one day. It`s set so it updates at 17.00 everyday.
Ive also noticed that the box crashes when i try to save or adjust any settings.

How do I sort this out ?

    Please help

Not enough space on the box for the epg data.
You need to map a usb stick and download the epg to the usb stick.
Certain skins often crash the box but yours is because the epg is filling the memory up on the box.

      Thanks andy.
The epg settings are set so it goes onto the usb stick. Ive tried formatting the usb stick but its still no better.

Whats "map a usb stick" ?

When you put your usb stick in your box did you format the usb stick?
The stick will need to be mapped in blue panel/settings panel/device manager.

Thats fine but did you actually format the stick via the Dreambox and mount the stick via devices manager?

If you just chose the path thats not enough, you have to set it up through the devices settings in blue panel/blue button/settings panel/devices manager.

Not sure mate you can lose some stuff like skins if you have downloaded extra ones to free space up on the box.
In my earlier post ive told you how to map and mount the usb stick.
Go onto device settings as like i said in my ealier post.
Ive not got a usb stick in my box at present so doing this from memory.
Must be a guide on here if you search long enough.

I have a similar issue with my new internal hdd. I have formatted in using the Blue panel and mounted it but it will only save programmes to a small portion of the drive <100mb. Should the device manager format the disk as one partition.
I'm running GP2 Sim 2.01 ssbl #82. Could it be a problem with the image as other issue like not being able to change the timezone to GMT etc.
                        Any help would be appreciated.
