    dm800 wiedest problem ever

I have had a dm800 clone for quite a while now and have found it to be a good box, however it does overheat especially when you hook up a sata hdd. So yesterday my box was spitting and stopping more than usual haha I thought it,s overheating the cpu, so i took off the top cover and discvered that the fan was full of crap. Right dismantle take out fan clean and replace, oh no nothings that easy re plug and Nothing. no display at the front no red button just green and yellow light on the ethernet connection; strange i thought. no problem re flash, cant even do that no connection in dream up so i go to the forums, i tried everything i could find on every post with even a little bit of knowledge taht was close to the problem. Still nothing so remove sim (on one of the posts) and brake the cradle so i eventually give up and consign it to the bin.Wait i think why not sell it for parts, so i put it all back together (for Pics) and think one more time I,ll try it one more time, and the bloody thing boots right through to tv mode.O.K. full shutdown from remote wait then remove power re attactch sat lead hdmi cable ethernet then re power, boot through to sim2.01 display on front panel. shutdown try reboot, boot with sod all no display on front no red light no bloody nothing.IF anyone else has had similar problems and know wtf is going on with the dm800 please please let me know, yours extremely frustrated (and unable to watch tv) tooloud

Take the tuner and hdd out and see if it boots up if it does shut down un-plug from the mains then plug the tuner back in and see if it boots up if it does re install the hdd.

      Hi

Well this week Ive been trying to do friends box which was having problems and he wanted me to install a hdd so thought Id reflash and then install the drive, set it up all bonny then installed te drive and as soon as Ive done that Ive lost the remote function and its not the remote its the panel on the box, Im typing this just after ive took it all apart and have just put it back together for the 2nd time in the hope everything comes good.

Anyway in your case to me I think you may have a problem with your psu.

      Regards
