HELP!! DM800SE HD no boot up

Guys,

I recently purchased a DM800SE HD Clone and everything was working great. I didnt have an EPG installed so i went ahead and installed crossepg. This worked well for a couple of hours but then my box reset and now will not boot up.

I believe this is because i installed crossepg through the addons menu and you cant install addons that way with a clone.

Can anyone please help as i am now unable to boot up the machine.

Looks like you have filed up the flash memory with epg data.
You should still be able to get the box in flash mode. Have a look at the sticky threads (in red) how to flash via browser, probably best to use IE, chrome, firefox wont work for me.
Find the image you want to flash.
Most important make sure it is for your clone dm800se, and very important make sure it is for you sim type.
When you have reflashed the box, and happy with your set up, install the crossepg plugin again, but make sure in the configuration you aim the data to your usb stick and you will be fine mate.

Thanks for the reply mate. I did already point it to my external hard drive. I have been told it will not boot up because i install crossepg through the plugins menu and with the box being a clone i cant do that and dreammedia have now blocked it?

I basically had the box with everything on, my mate just put the c-line in and it worked.

If i re-flash will my mate need to put the c-line in again?

installing cross epg on a clone , doesnt cause, all addons work really, just dont update actual image, and flash in patched images,

depending what image you flash may already have cccam installed if not can always install it from addons

I had Merlin 3 image on there.

I have read i just pick an image for a cloned machine and hook it up to my pc then flash using the nfi file.

Is this correct?

in theory yes. you need to look for either a
sim 2.10 Clone Image SSL84 or a Ferrari sim image
it tells you on the box lcd screen which sim it is.
you dont say which it is, but i guess it's a sim 2.10 box.
you also need to use a browser like firefox to flash the box
and then follow the tutorial on how to flash the box also
when you re flash any linux box it clears all the settings
so you need to add the tspanel to get all the extras like
cccams etc and your menu will also need setting up for the
sats you want on your list and if you dont have a channel list
the satellites will have to be rescanned as well the av settings
for the tv, time. language and if you have never done this then
read up and ask before you start, you dont want to give yourself more problems
