clone dm800s something burning inside

hi lads, wondering can somebody offer a little advice, i was pulling my tv out to reach something behind then suddently the power went off the my dm800s clone,(iv had it for about 2 years with no probs) so i powered off then on again which it worked ok,but i wasnt getting a signal,strange, i powered off again and tried on again but this time nothing happened,no power,tried few other times with no luck,looked dead,then i started smelling something burning,i powered off,then opened dm to have a look,powered on again and something defo burning,any advise would be great, forgot to mention,the dm wont even power on,when i insert the psu a smell of burning happens and there is no lcd lit on the dreambox screen,but there must be power going through if burning,thanks

i always had it disabled mate as it was always making to much noise, i always used a usb laptop cooler from the day i got it, over 2 years ago and never had a burning smell until now mate

when i just inserted the psu the smell of burning was quite bad there and smoke started flying out were the psu goes into dm,

the jack plug may just be a bad connection and might need resoldering.

if your not over bothered about the box just stick the power it and leave it for a bit , might be some grease or smelly capacitor

now i know ~~~~ all about sat boxes but if you switch off fan i can vision burnt out board or caps leaking,open it up and look,you dont want to be headline news as your house burnt down,remember electronics can kill or cause untold damage.

thanks for the advise mate, yeah have it opened and it looks fine to be honest,cant see anything burnt etc,but i no there is as smoke was flying out earlier , i always used a laptop cooler for over 2 years with no problems,also the dm was always powered off at night,
