    Tune Failed on DM800se clone

    Hi
My mate just received a DM800se with built in wifi clone.
Problem is it won't display HD channels only SD.

He tried it in a friends house that has HD and still 'tune failed' comes up when trying to select a HD channel.
All SD channels are working good.
Tried FTA BBC1 HD and no joy .

Trying to get in touch with supplier who says it was working fine and he tested it before he despatched it.

If he doesn't hear back and wanted to try fix himself what type of tuner and where could he buy one?

    Thanks
PS- its the single tuner model

      Cheers for reply
He has all the good files added but can only get SD.
Will a new image make a difference?
Surely it must be a tuner issue???

He has an old 800hd clone .
Could he put that in the 800se?
Is it easy to change the tuner ?
          Thanks

i had a se that missed a lot of the lower frequencies
and had to change the tuner then all was ok.
the 800 is a different tuner it has a loop out
and the se is a single lnb input tuner, but the 800
will fit in a se model to test. i have tried a 800hd tuner
in a 800 se board. when you take the 800se tuner out
you remove the small plate with it that locks the 800se tuner to
the back plate of the se model then both lnb inputs on the 800hd tuner
can fit in the se back plate on the box

i had this issue with my dm800se clone too

what i did was take off the cover and take out the tuner
i then put the tuner back in turned the receiver back on and everything was ok.
strange but it must of reset it somehow.
tuner is set up on fixed single sat 28.2e.
