Setting up remote on DM800se for tv

On my older remote I did this 1. Press the TV-Mode-Button once.
2. Press the SHIFT/Setup-Button for 3 seconds, the TV-Mode-Button will flash twice.
Now if I do this on new remote for Sunray DM800 SE the LED tv mode stays on. When I enter a code it starts flashing but I am stuck as to what I am supposed to do to get it working for a Panasonic tv.

have you tried tv button shift button 991 tv button on off tv repeat until tv set switches of on ? might take alot of tries until works but did on old engima 1 remotes

No it seems different. You press shift then the light on the tv mode button comes on permament . You press the numbers and the tv button starts flashing then after 10 secs it goes off. Tried 991 and 0991

My old silver remote came programmed for my Panasonic plasma but I have heard that some remotes can control TVs some can't and what they can control is quite specific.

Cheers that is how the remote for my dm800 worked but this when you press the shift key keeps the TV light on perm and don't flash twice.

while it is flashing u r supposed to hit d box remote key u want to 'learn' and with yr tv remote within 2 cms away hit whatever tv key u want mimicked..hitting shift/setup again will exit the function.. BUT i cant find how to at least set the TV button to some code so i dont have to do ALL d keys
