DM800 Clone, driving me nuts, won't reebot..

Firstly, please excuse my ignorance, i'm still fairly new to DM800, so it's a steep learning curve!

I have tried flashing various images, all of which seem to flash, but when the Receiver reboots, it just hangs.

(On the LCD Display, where is says Dreambox Booting, the white progress bar, go's as far as the 2nd o of the word booting, then hangs)

I'm at my wits end as to what to try

I've tried flashing via the browser & Null Cable, both with the same outcome...

    Please help a suicidal newbie

Try taking the tuner out and hdd if it has one installed and see if it boots up if it does replace it the tuner and try again.

I had it totally apart Chic, i assume the tuner (is that the satellite connections screw into?), it didnt appear to be able to come out? (I didn't want to force it)

Hi mate. When you reflash, are you sure it has been successful?
In the interface page you load your image, then do you tick reboot automatically, if so, does it? and if so do you get anything on your tv screen ie boot logo?
Have you had it working previously?

Yes, the reebot immediately box is ticked, yes you see the boot logo for a shirt while, then the screen go's blank, and it hangs as in the video :-(

I am soo frustrate with it.

Has the box ever worked? Yes
Reason for the re flash is it started playing up, freezing etc..

How long are you leaving it? It can take an age to reboot after a flash. leave it off for 30 minutes turn it on and leave it for a good 5 to 10 if it still doesn't boot try this image Digital Kaos - Downloads - sim201-ssl82-dreamelite-PHOENIXedition2..13/05/201

Seen this many times before and a serial flash sorted it every time with the image above
I'd also recommend taking out the sim and cleaning it....if you take off the cover youll see it(similiar to a phone sim card),just slip it out of the slot and clean it.Try booting it up then....LMK

Do you have a HDD installed? I get this after a flash with my 800se and I've worked eventually that it was the AutoBackup plugin that was trying to do a restore straight after booting up.

Might not be the same problem but for me I either change the folder name of the autobackup folder on the HDD before flashing or if I forget unplug the HDD.

Flash the image and bootloader or flash it with someone else backup, there is one in the download section to get you going then you can flash with a different image
