DM800HD Hard Drive Install

Is it easy enough to install an internal hdd in the dm800hd. Is it sata or ide, presume its 2.5.

Is the caddy and mounting screws already within the box, all I need is a hard drive....?

Cables should be in the box mate

2.5 inch sata and it just slots in, format the drive to exfat/fat32 prior to installation.

or any as size as external via esata or usb

The screws and cable should come with the box but it all depends on when the box was purchased. By this I mean that some 800hd boxes came with a large heatsink which meant that the heatsink got in the way and you couldn't plug the cable in, the suppliers I think did bring out an L shaped cable but I've never seen one so have no idea how it would fit. For boxes with these large heatsinks people have reverted to cutting bits off the heatsink in order to get the cable to fit.

I've used a small support plastic under the disk. Right disk corner, looking from the front.
